Does nobody else just see how this guy will become one of the best American Controllers?

Think about it. His Astra and Brimstone were the best at one point, and his Omen can use work but people do blow out of proportion. He never played well on Omen because his Team didn't know how to support an Omen to Frag. Get him back with Potter and she will do the Magic on him for real.

He can definitely play omen and viper. At least to the extent of top fragging his mates

i would agree with you but

demon1 has failed to properly play duelist at NRG and when put on brimstone/astra he still underperformed.

at lev with months of offseason to work with he still wasnt able play proper duelist.

at what point do we realize that maybe demon1 himself is the issue and not others?

Look at the coaches.

Chet is a scumbag and keeps trying to taint everyone that wasn't on the Optic Cores name

Forget the guy on Lev but he has no success getting K1ng back on the Duelist or teaching Rossy how to IGL.

How do you expect him to learn how to be the best when he is under a coach trying to ruin his reputation and then another coach that is probably not a good leader outside of the game. Just saying.

other players have thrived under itopata and chet. sitting here saying that they are the only reason why demon1 is not performing is unfair.

Also no team is ever perfect and no player is going to have the right conditions every time. if you cant perform given the chances you've had then you can only blame urself.

It is not. The only thing I will give to Chet is the fact that he would do individual practice with Yay, he has not done anything like that since. The Only person to do good under Itopata is Tex and look how he is performing now, I would say he thrived under Aspas.

How do you expect Demon1 to thrive under Chet if Chet is out to get his reputation and Itopata who is unable to keep his players performing to how they did when Aspas was on the Team.

aspas = hard worker
demon1 = not so hard worker

ppl forget he was sleeping during practice but his lack of consistency isnt his problem, his teammates are bad, coach, whatever

Lets face it Aspas has his role figured out while Demon1 doesn't. Aspas did not need help, he helped those around him. Slotting Demon1 on a team where his teammates need just as much help as him with a Coach who is not build for that isn't a great Idea.

the individual practice chet did with yay was something yay himself wanted to do. if demon1 wanted to do so he could but has demon1 really tried as hard as other players? demon1 has no one but himself to blame for not being able to play good on NRG and LEV.

sitting here saying that itopata only succeded because of aspas is just not true since lev as a team looked way better after itopata took over from goked.

missing satchels, struggling to entry and losing 1v1s is not a coach's responsibility but a players responsibility.

Do you really think that Chet would have done that type of practice with Demon1? Hell no the team was destroyed and disliked one another. He had no way to improve since he was forced intro the role immediately.

Itopata is great at telling his team what to do during timeouts, that is what the previous coach was terrible at and the team did not need him to help improve the players around him because that is something Aspas was doing excels at. Now they do not have Aspas and Itopata has to do that himself and look at the results.

Demon1 did not have the system needed to learn other Agents, Rossy could not learn how to be a great leader, K1ng couldn't learn to slot into the Duelist role and Tex fell of as much as it hurts to admit.

If Lev wanted to succeed they should have looked for an Assistant Coach that would be there to help improve and keep them performing well. Yet they didn't.

At the End of the day its a series of shitty circumstances and trying to make Demon1 fill Aspas's role which he never will, he isn't Aspas. To go back to my original statement which is very much true. With an actual Leader, whether that is a player or a coach just someone who can help Demon1 learn these roles and get him to Improve he can be one of the best controllers in the Americas just as he was during Champs when he filled.

always the others, never him

zZzZzZz

his agent pool is weak and the team he plays ALWAYS had to adapt to play around him, but the problem are the others, not him

sick of this lazy ass narrative, hes limited, period

Demon1 was the best player on that lev roster bar kingg but I would argue he was more consistent during the season than kingg

sure he performed decent but he was signed as a duelist, not a controller. having a top 5 igl+controller last year flex to duelist because the guy you signed cant satchel at all is not optimal.

the reason why everyone under performed on lev is due to the fact that everyone had to compensate for demon1s playstyle and roles.

you have
rossy
demon1
kingg
c0m
tex

all extremely flexible players regardless of demon1 himself, kingg even being a duelist main before franchising, I dont think much would have changed especially since kingg wasnt calling

#37

"extremely flexible" is true but that doesnt cover the duelist role. you cant run fast execs with a guy that canT press W and it showed during kickoff and stage 1. Kingg was calling during kickoff and if they've had a different player than demon1 they def would've done better

but you have to sell shirts and big name player like demon1 gives you that

rossy called during 1st split is what im talking about

They had natank who could play raze if they needed it, didnt use him
They had Tex who could play raze if they needed it, didnt do it
They had Kingg on duelist, they didnt play raze

keep in mind demon1 top fragged almost every game, but its his fault? You have 3 people who can play raze if it matters and demon1 has already proved his neon to be pretty good, playing very well against the likes of G2. I think kingg is one of the best players we've seen recently, along with being the best (or second to keznit/mazino) Latam player of all time, but we can't pretend like demon1 not being able to play raze was why they performed bad. They didn't even try raze when demon1 wasn't playing it. Kingg didnt go positive for any games besides their 2-0 vs FURIA and their 0-2 to NRG (demon1 matched him). The issue was 100% the macro and how they played around the meta. Leviatan saw 0 utilization of the rampant double duelist meta that would have allowed for this team with several duelist players to thrive, and their midrounding was mediocre in every game they played.

No Winner is a Fluke. I hate that statement its actually rotten. If that is the case every winner before T1 was a fluke yet T1 is also a Fluke? Get yall's shit straight its a boring ass excuse to call people shit.

he's a weird player, he can play brim and astra but not omen and viper? can play jett but not yoru? also im pretty sure his original role on eg was sentinel before potter put him on jett so maybe he should just switch to sentinel

His controller is decent, but we’ve got a lot of controller talent here. Valyn, bang, s0m, supamen, and v1c all just straight up outclass him as an all around smokes, and xander is decent enough for 100T to keep at it. Unless he goes to a south american team, i don’t see anyone trading their current smokes for him
