100T Discussion

100T looked on the up going into the end of last Stage attributed to a close game against G2, but that isn't enough to compete. What does this team need to do/change going into Stage 2, to not only qualify for Champs but look competitive in Paris. Please don't say the usual: Drop Asuna, Drop Boostio, Boostio needs to shoot. These are all givens and obvious reactionary answers.

Would you like to see comp changes? Playstyle changes? Role changes?

The map pool right now is probably the worst it's ever been for 100T with the addition of Sunset and no Bind, Fracture, or Breeze. Definitely will be a tought uphill battle for them.

their hyper-aggressive plays have become predicable and straight up don’t work when asuna isn’t frying. they are relying way too much on cryo dropping 40 every game too.

cryo full duelist /asuna full flex, tell boostio to start being a pig again and eeiu/zander need to start shooting again/playing how they like to

Aspas plays neon and raze. If Cryo could actually play those agents and was aggro enough, you could put Asuna on flex init which he's better at.

he could probably play neon and have a very mobile OP, but 100T are pussies so i doubt they will ever try it. what annoys me is their aggression, they are too predictable

Just because they've never done it in a match doesn't mean they've never tried it in scrims lol. Cryo would probably be horrible on Neon considering you have to be super aggro at times and play as a human drone for the team to trade.

controversial opinion but they should base their map pool around Zander playing Deadlock / Viper, play a lot of Asuna yoru with cryo orb smokes, eeiu init and boostio senti.

maybe have some Cryo Jett+ double initiator but double senti is the future and Zander is the only guy I trust to play senti cause cryo is better on orb smokes.

That being said its Zikz so 100T continue playing double duelist comps and dont work on their retakes or postplants, just to lose in a disappointing way because they have no discipline

Ah yes. Make one of the best t2 smokes play senti and then make an inherently aggro team play double senti. Great idea lmao.

"one of the best T2 smokes" has been fucking abysmal on smokes so far, and teammates of Cryo need to be pretty flexible to accomodate for his shit agent pool in exchange for his carry potential.

Enlighten us Mr Valorant savant, what would your realistic solution be?

Zander's been doing better now and he's ass when he has to lurk. So putting him on senti would be dumb af unless you want boosti, a naturally aggro player, to lurk full time as the igl.

Also, you pointed it out that Cryo's shit agent pool is the only reason why they have these fucked up roles in the first place.

Regardless, nothing indicates double senti is the "future" lol. If it was, you would've seen it on a lot more maps then just ascent with how busted tejo was and how well he synergizes with deadlock.

Genuinly cut Zander. Bro had 1 game where he went positive the entire year. After this year id say cut Asuna as well and make the team less agressive and hyper building around cryo

besides -asuna and -boostio which u said are obvious, play for setting up cryo, hes the best player on that team by a mile. also idk if the comms improved cuz the last thing I remember is asuna screaming and people laughing about that but thats probably an issue
