GenG looked the best they ever have

And Ash really surpassed any expectations I've had for him. Insane debut
Lowkey think that PRX barely has a chance against them if they play like yesterday.

tbh, PRX should NOT have picked Icebox, this is still one of GEN.G's strongest maps

but tbh, they still played pretty well, hopefully they don't choke

Look at MIBR's match history. You'll get your answer.

I think it was more Geng playing amazing then mibr playing terribly.

Both.
Munckin masterclass 300IQ!
prime s3xture is back
Karon proving why he is the best controller
Ash hit the ground running with that debut
Foxy9 made MIBR shi their pants on sunset.

MIBR have many rookies playing their 1st international game. They had no chance beating GenG. Pacific is so competitive that even DRX and T1 didn't even qualify.

drx had to chang roster and T1 were looking bad then their bangkok form

GenG had the whole suggest in, foxy9 out
If mini and panda never joined PRX they wouldn't have improved so much.
Boom choked in playoff.
RRQ unexpected pacific winner.
What I'm saying is any of DRX/T1/Boom/GenG/PRX/RRQ are all so competitive and could make Toronto.

but GenG change were at start of stage 1 but drx changes were in playoffs of staage 1

Point is DRX/T1/Boom/GenG/PRX/RRQ are all competitive.

  • If u wanna nitpick specific game suggest played on that specific week, alecks said in binbon podcast that suggest was factor he didn’t expect even tho he went 35/40.
  • To prevent further nitpick, if boom replicate group stage form to playoffs they would be competitive at international stage too.
  • For DRX nitpick, should they qualify to Toronto, they would beat MIBR too.

T1 is shite I already knew for drx them being unfortunate

At the time yes, but I wouldn't count on them being shite in the upcoming stage 2 with brand new map pool and meta. Also we could see Sylvan replaced in starting. Buzz/Stax/Meteor core on paper shouldn't be bad.

the last thing this team needs is a player replacement especially after being one of three teams to win an international trophy this year. their roster is the most talented with all of them being exceptional players

i don’t get autumn man

The way I see it is similar to alecks mindfreak situation. Alecks said if any of the starting players are heavy underperforming mindfreak is there to pick up the slack. For T1, if any1 is underperform their starting position could be replaced by someone in the academy. T1 missing Toronto could be seen as giving time to tryout new player like what EDG is doing now since Jieni didn't produce result.

T1 already has carpe for the job and he’s shown that he can step up when the team needs him (he carried them vs GENG), maybe it’s just me but I don’t think a 7 man roster is necessary at all but I do see your point and agree with what you’re saying l

Karon contract expire end of this year. If he pulls a meteor and move to T1, they would be very solid.

mibr had very off game. People are gonna read it as "GENG is fucking insane" cuz they went in wanting GENG to be the best pacific team (why? Do we hate RRQ?) but literally that wasn't what happened. Aspas played more selfless like he tends to when he's comfortable with a team and the rookies unfortunately couldn't keep up with him at their first internationals.

geng have much more experience and have beaten rrq many times in the past like it's not wild to say geng > rrq
