I don’t entirely disagree but your examples aren’t really good cases of this. Flashback clearly has some issues and DRX (rightfully so) would rather be slightly worse than having to worry about their player just not showing up for the game.
Trexx (no matter on what side you might be on this issue) was clearly a ticking time bomb on vitality. The internal struggles wouldve let the team to collapse at some point. CyvOph is not a bad player by any margin and I still believe this was inevitable with or without change, I think Vitality were able to impress early in the year and meta when nobody really had a read and their individuals overpowered. Their big issue now is that other teams are just so far superior on a macro level that their individuals cant bail them out anymore and everything falls apart.
There is plenty of cases though were changes are just unnecessary and the teams would’ve probably looked better if they just took the time to work on their system. Liquid Kamyk seems like an obvious case here tbh. Their team isnt bad now by any means but Kamyk has just looked better than Serial. His inconsistencies could’ve probably been worked out in the time they took to integrate their new player.
