They have a great fucking coaching staff and one hell of a core
They just need that Chronicle x Leo type transfer window to become the absolute best

hope the close loss doesn’t get to them, i think they should be comfortable in the lowers
Navi aint looking too bad and BBL is looking damn solid
Still the favorites to make Toronto but it won't be easy
Against who ? VIT they were decent but they glued haard vs FNC i still think they have a chance to go on a run
FUT are gatekeepers. top 3-6 is their turf. This year europe is stronger so its back to 5-6th for them
They're barely better than last year while having a massive upgrade. Idk what they're doing with their time but it's not looking good
FUT only win condition is if xeus frags heavily tbh, games where xeus didn't carry they lost that max amount of times
TL really has to have a bad day if they lose against NAVI tomorrow
However BBL should be the ones to give them a bit of trouble
FUT is inconsistent
I would replace patitek for Qu1ckz the goat he might become the next goat ini give him a chance
Pretty much.
One of the major reason other teams that were successful for a longer period was when they're having a bad day, individuals would win then games.
Like how Alfa would takeover.
Liquid currently lacks that tbh.
nAts - Keiko - Kamo is a great core and paTiTek is a great addition for the vibes but his fragging is very inconsistent.
But we've seen rosters with one such vibe merchant who's maybe not as good fragging wise but needed to keep the teams up with the vibes or with the Cohesion like Zellsis, Lakia.
It's just Serial hasn't been upto the mark like Kamyk.
I know they made a change for the better but the 1v4 from Kamyk on Abyss during Shanghai, that's something that Liquid need rn. Sheer individuals bailing them when the team is having an off day.
Basically a 2021-22 esque Liquid with all the fire power + current coaching staff would absolutely annihilate.
Serial is having trouble settling down, if they had still had kamyk with the form he has had, they would've beat fnatic easily
liquid is decent team, coaching is insane and going band to band with the current fnc roster looking like a beast is insane!
crazy what happens when you don't keep the same ass coach for 2 years for no reason
I don't think he was bad, he did pretty good with the 2023 roster than the 2024 roster was just ass
I think both of those rosters were several levels below what they should have been talent wise, they were superteams
The one with nats sayf jamppi redgar and soulcas yes. If you were actually here you will remember people had serious doubts who was the better team TL NAVI or FNC before the season started. You're judging them by their current level not their level at the time
The second one a bit less but Enzo was coming off of an insane tier 2 season and look at Keiko now, Mistic well... Regardless, TL has a huge budget and they spent a shit tone of money to build those rosters specially the first one. If you don't agree it was a super roster you're also giving me the reason because it was Emil who chose them over better players
they were a good team but they were no super team. I think there's only been 2 or 3 superteams in the games history. fnatic, vitality and arguably NRG.
the only top tier players on 2023 liquid were sayf and nats (and nats wasn't even performing to his level in the first half of the year)
I think it's hard to judge coaches' impact but I thought liquids overall strats looked solid even in 2024
Well Redgar still had rep as an IGL of one of the best EMEA teams out there and theres always been people that think very highly of Jamppi, especially back then. I think there couldve been an argument for them being somewhat of a superteam if soulcas was replaced with someone better.
Still that team shouldve probably been a lot better on paper than they were, but honsetly it feels like Redgar was partially to blame for that
very unfortunate to lose yesterday, I think the thought of going to toronto got to their heads a little bit and they whiffed a lot on the 2nd half of fracture (and all of fnatic woke up, still made it really close and TL shouldve won imo)
I think Serial is a solid calm player, replacing him is insane unless you get a Leo level talent (cough trexx is free cough). Replacing pati is plain stupid tho, the guy is solely responsible for being the vibe man and dragging the team through bad times (coach has said this himself). Kamo is slowly growing into the player he was at KOI last year, and Keiko and nAts have been great as well, so i think its part of the development course of a new roster to face these hurdles and hopefully they bounce back from this well.
I think Serial's performance yesterday was not as good as before, but the last triple kill was really impressive. It's a pity that Nats didn't finish the game. If Serial can maintain their form, TL might be able to win.
