this will probably be my last post until I get out of this shithole that is my parents house. if I get out of this, I'll update if people care enough lol. they don't even want me to sleep on a bed, took my room and everything. I'm staying up all night because this is my last day in this room and on this bed with no judgement, some freedom and no constant observation by those assholes.

thank you lol, i just feel funny. I'll have to give in to their controlling behavior because I'm not independent yet, the situation for some reason feels funny. I'll work so hard that colleges will be giving me full rides. I'll get through this, i know I can. just giving my APs too currently.

my parents have internal issues, they honestly should be divorced but they aren't. they were physically abusive to each other in the past and spend most of the time apart, now I don't care about them or want to talk to them in anyway because they never were there for me, always out and coming late. never really connected as family I guess, that's why I resorted to video games I guess, I still enjoy them and don't think I'm doing anything wrong by playing video games but maybe theyre my coping mechanisms. but these people have deep rooted trauma and should never be allowed to be a parent. I honestly don't think of them of as my parents, now they retaliate by doing this and controlling me. idk what they hope to achieve by doing this.
I think this situation is called developmental neglect.

they did not provide emotional attunement when I was young and it just kept worsening
it's the absence of their contact drove me away from them, now they try to control me.

Typical spoiled brat. Parents don’t owe you anything, privacy, internet, and phone is a privilege. Privileges can be lost, too much of the story isn’t noted.
Edit: this doesn’t cover all potential family problems that occur. And parents are not 100% clear in this, especially if they have their own internal issues. It’s a two way street.
Internet? A phone? No these are privileges that can be lost due to the parents choice or a child’s poor choice (focusing too much on video games).
