well the answer was always no because salaries but we literally have academy teams for this now anyway and if you're not utilizing one you are outright trolling.
i agree i mean thats what academy teams are for pretty much but over half the league doesnt have one... even liquid this year with a mid roster on paper has become one of if not the best team in emea with this method.

They got one (generational) up and comer, the other 4 have been in the NA scene for ages.
I think it is more the 10 man roster for better pracs and scrims then betting on up and comers, more T2 players should be picked up tho ngl.
they do in-house scrims with cubert and sometimes mibr since they prac in the same office
