Both are terrible coaches I cant lie but also it is extremely hard to use Demon1 cause you need someone like jawgemo on the team and there are like 3 or 4 players like that in americas rn

no. jawgemo is phenomenal on duelist agents. kinggg is mid on duelists. that is a huge difference in agent pool. kinggg is an amazing player if he isn't forced onto the entry role.

Demon1 should and probably has tried to learn to play as a dedicated duelist, hard-entrying for the team, but it is probably his personal playstyle to be calm rather than super aggro. If you recall his EG days, he wasn't extremely dynamic. In fact, he said at the time that he enjoyed playing agents like Astra.
Also, to say that other teams' duelists aren't flexing like Demon1 is just not true. Kai and FengF were flexing duelists and sentinel roles depending on maps during the times that they attends internationals. The issue right now is Demon1's agent pool isn't favoured especially with teams trying to lean into the Yoru meta. Jett is still favourable on maps like Ascent and Icebox, but it's becoming evident that Yoru-Breach-Tejo-Omen-Viper is the meta comp with variations swapping out Breach and Viper depending on the map.

every single team at Bangkok aside from them had a dedicated duelist. the current top teams regionally also nearly all have a dedicated duelist
TE definitely doesn't now, but last year they were making their name in Champs. They took down Leviatan with Aspas. Current pro meta is definitely moving back to dedicated simple roles. I feel like Demon1 should be more of a secondary duelist and then tex plays duelist. Demon1 on Iso would also be great to see, but unfortunately it's probably never going to happen.

d1 was the problem because he couldnt entry and fucked all the roles
i actually thought d1 was quite good on lev, his level of play wasnt the problem at all but he either played duelist where he struggled to find impact or he took kingg (a top smokes player) off of his best role
after kingg moved to duelist Rossy had to take over as igl where he was much worse than kingg too
so its not his level of play being bad, its the knock on effect that his agent pool has on the rest of the team
similar situation with Cryo on 100t but he is so good that its justifiable
it was expected with too many role overlaps and issues that could all be prevented by having a proper duelist. kingg is overall a better controller than demon1 and sacrificing him for a worse controller is just bad
diamond1 has no place on the roster. not good smokes. not versatile enough on duelist. 2 years later and still a one trick

if D1 is who u say he is, then surely his teammates vouch for him, even underperforming players on underperforming teams stay on rosters because theyre good teammates. Crazy considering he played relatively well and still wanted him out, I think its pretty easy to comprehend why he got dropped
