“would” is some crazy work. I don’t remember any point where Asuna was top 5 in the world. I don’t even remember 1 time Asuna was consistent. He’s just consistently inconsistent. He has glimpses of moments where he shines but is just too inconsistent. Ceiling is high but currently I’d label him as an average player who just gets too much spotlight and glaze.
