Hey guys, I've been thinking about who the "face" of Valorant is and I came up with the following list of players/streamers/casters/talents. Let me know if ya agree or disagree and who you think is the "face" of Valorant.
1) Tarik
2) Tenz
3) Boaster
4) Shanks
5) Sliggy
6) Yay
7) FNS/S0m
8) KangKang
9) Platchat
10) Cned
Tenz retired too early, but I consider him to be bellow Tarik since they're both in the streamers category now and everyone knows Tarik pulls bigger numbers in that department.
Real List:
boaster is an underrated pick
but sideshow and bren should not be there
casters suck
fns som and valyn havent done enough
no plat chat
Explain to me how TENZ, BOASTER, ZMJJKK, ASPAS, and SAADHAK are above Tarik.
Can't speak on the others but Kangkang probably belongs, he's a CN icon and they have a limbillion players on their side of the pond. China's huge, and so is their gamer population.
Ya, Tarik carries the viewership of Valorant. Without him, there would be -50 percent viewers!
I'm over 20 with a stable job and virtual relationship. So no not every Tarik viewers are 10yr old kids
A good portion of the community only watch costreams and goon to the likes of Tarik and Sliggy
Aspas has never been the face of Valorant because every year he played in, he has never been the best in his role (duelist). So let me ask you, how can someone who's bellow guys like Tenz and Yay be the face of Valorant?
nah i think he deserves to be on the list he got too much aura not to be in the list, he won champs and every team he joined instantly improved
tenz is probably more talked about? like i know people from school who barely play valorant but know tenz. His chat may be full of bots but he's def the face of valorant in terms of popularity. This may change as more time has passed since his retirement though
Strange, I feel like more people from my university knows about Tarik than Tenz
well i dont live in the USA, also plenty of people my age tried to get into valorant during the pandemic and tenz was pretty popular already by then so maybe they just associate tenz with valorant by default
Maybe they were into cs and tarik is like one of the few NA cs players that actually did something
