Why does riot not allow anyone below 18 to compete in VCT?
It makes absolutely 0 sense, in CS you see monesy and donk with 4 years of tier 1 experience at 20 yo, this rule only hurts the scene and doesn't help it at all.

they should indeed make it 16+ but im guessing they have a reason to not make it 16+ like laws or smth

The can play in tier 2 to develop skills because child labour laws don't allow them to play in tier 1 until 18

probably because val tourney held by riot itself, and they dont want to had problems by changing shit depends on local laws of the country where the masters/champions are held

meanwhile cs depends on the organizer

probably because riot knows there are predators in the league

Because Germany has a strict law for workers under 18 where they can't work from 8 PM to 6 AM the next day, and that's the time when VCT EMEA matches happen. You might say, "Oh then keep the rule just for VCT EMEA" but won't that be unfair? That's why the rule exists for every region.
