Don’t you think thats unfair tho? We should only judge a player by their skill if players like miniboo and Xeus are gonna recieve hate as soon as they have a bad game its only justified if Florescent can recieve that same criticism or people can stop being hypocrites
It is unfair but with her background is bound to happen, in an ideal world she would be treated like the rest of the players but rn she is getting glazed too much by people who may be represented by her but also is getting unfair hate for being trans
tbf florescent does receive some valid criticism but a lot of it is just transphobia. I think its riot gives her a lot of pr because valorant has more female players/viewers than a lot of other games, so they wanna make them feel represented. But I agree that there are some skilled players that dont get enough recognition
Politics.
Valorant's player base is split on the trans stuff but Riot is a very progressive company and a good chunk of viewers are also very progressive. Florescent is kind of like a golden goose for Riot and the progressive fans. I think she's a good player but her identity is definitely giving her more defenders than what other players would get.
It's nothing new, all sports have politics and try to push certain players more than others for different reasons.

it is ONE game lmao. C9 would do the same, SEN would do the same damn even FNC would bcos for kaajak it was exactly the same against navi on fracture. he got the OP again and turned the tides. yes it didnt work but every round is winnable so they took that chance
