I dont think thats true. He just had better offers and left them as far as i know
I'd consider not giving him a good offer letting him go tbh, I would've been trying to give him the bag in the offseason if I were BBL
(although idk what KC paid for him, since KC almost surely has more money to throw around)
He was looked at by much better teams and bigger orgs. I think he just ditched them to climb up the comp ladder. Thats what im trying to say
