Shroud doesn't play valo anymore. The only reason he's co-streaming is because he's getting paid. He's busy playing New World
If your name is big then you get paid since it gets more attention. Such as people like poki and ludwig. Ludwig barely ever touched valorant but he was streaming during masters or berlin I think. So I guess the same could be said for Shroud. But I don't know if its 100%. thats up to u.

I stopped caring for shroud when he started to call cs dead 24/7. Haven’t really watched him since pubg cs days. I was just amazed 350k people were watching him watch a Valorant event and him just sitting there dazed.

This thread is clueless. I agree shroud isnt the talkative type but ppl like his watchparty for his comments/opinions on the plays pro players do during the game. He would explain why he like/dislike a retake for example and sometimes even use his own experience to back up his reasoning. Even better when he's joined by other ex-pros like n0thing, just9n etc.

Honestly, you cannot blame Shroud for his boring watch parties. Man has watched more Valorant than you can ever imagine this year. He watch partied the masters 1 qualifiers, Masters 1, pretty much the entirety of Stage 2 qualifiers, Masters 2, then Challengers Event for Berlin and a little bit of Berlin Masters as well. Doing watch parties for like 12 days a month is impossible for him because he has to do a lot of sponsored streams as well.

He literally did that all the time back then. He would discuss why he likes or hates a play often. Only in masters 3 berlin is when he stopped doing this tbh cos of the couch stream. I used to watch him all the time during NA matches and in Masters 2 Iceland

Pro players aren't allowed access to watch party streams otherwise even Hiko, Subroza and Wardell could've got permission.
The watch parties are given to people who have been consistently watching Valorant and those who have an influence on people. Kyedae has been watching Val ever since Masters 1 that's why she got rights to watch party Champions.
Riot may have asked him but he probably could've denied given the fact that he doesn't want to watch Valorant for 9 hours everyday.

Tbh today's game outside of KRU vs Liquid are kind of whatever. Winner of Masters 3 going against arguably the weakest team on paper (Gambit vs TS) and Masters 2 winners going against arguably the 2nd weakest team on paper (Sentinels vs Furia). KRU vs Liquid could be pretty close actually or it could be dominant for Liquid.
