you are ranking up because your mmr is plat while you playing in gold, honestly just stick to a single role and agent and grind

learn omen, astra is a dogshit agent to carry, dont play sova as well, you are basically praying to get a team that doesnt run out like bums before you even drone/dart for them
I know how to play omen he just isn't as fun for me. I'm quite good with sova, and only really play him on ascent, and sunset which i have some darts for.
I disagree. In low elo it's the person's comfort/fun with an agent that matters far more than the agent's perceived ability to carry.
astra has 4 util max in a round, if you use 4 smoke then you cant use any other ability
with omen you have a gigachad paranoia, tps that give you outplay potential, and true rechargable smokes, sure go play astra if you enjoy it but its gonna make your progress a pain
i agree until we start talking about astra. Astra is meant for immo+ and nothing below. Even if you 5 stack if you arent immortal yet you dont even know how to effectively pre place her stars anyway so dont even try it
That's so untrue lol her stars are some of the easiest util in the game to use. You use stun anywhere you anticipate an enemy to be and you suck any choke or peek angle that you don't want an enemy to come from while you're clearing something else.

tip 1: Don't play all roles, 2 max and even in those roles master maybe 1-2 agents which are appropriate meta wise
tip 2: stack/ queue with friends, helps reduce randomness factor of shit teammates

controller is solid, good smoke utility can help you more than any agent class' utility
initiator is very hybrid sometimes you'll have to set yourself up or set your teammates up, there's more effort and skill in general needed for that
I'd recommend controller just because there's consistency in playstyle and you need to get game knowledge before mastering initiator
sova/fade is good for initiators, recon inis are pretty good for team support and sova is meta on most maps
omen/viper is good for controller, even clove in ranked is good imo, i play all controllers but i have the most fun on astra haha
biggest tip is to straight up stick to 1 role and then just vod review each match and then look at a pros vod and see what u guys r doing wrong. Pay attention to whats going around the map. See if your reaction and positioning is JUSTIFIED.
Can’t vod review, I would be under 60 fps(computer is 600$ and yes it’s a desktop)
69% KAST is very very bad, play more with your team and make sure to get traded even if you die. Ur probably ego peeking and losing your 1s a lot
Stick with playing 3-4 agents max. Omen is really good for soloq and you have a 55% wr on it so keep playing him. Chamber is also a good pick for that elo
gold players know how to trade?🤣 at this rank you have to do the job alone unfortunately.
up to immo i'd say you can rank up just by being better mechanically while having a decent read of the game.
i have a 43% wr and i'm ranking up too. Overall just a teammate diff tbh. Especially when you are carrying
