this has to be it right? getting humiliated by loud has to prompt them to change something. One thing I'll have to say tho is that they did improve. They are better disciplined and play more together. The game you watched vs Loud was an outlier. Go watch PRX or GenG (Untill 2nd map pistol).

theres something called money and having the biggest gaming industry in the world. Give them after Masters Shanghai. I think Masters Shanghai is when the chinese teams start to get better because they got international teams starting to scrim the other chinese teams besides EDG and FPX. By Champs or 2025 I think thats when they are up to par besides EDG.

the amount of 5v4, 5v3's i've seen them lose is insane.

EDG's like the only chinese team you can't count out. You also gotta take in the factor that EDG got a days rest and preparation while LOUD has basically 0 time and they're the first ones playing

fr, the people who drew def knew which teams were in which box

im not talking about tokyo. im talking about champs. They were in form and looked 10x better in champs than tokyo lol. They beat fnatic and were a map away from taking down EG. They finished 3rd overall. EDG was 1 round away to take LOUD in form to an MAP 3 OVERTIME. EDG vs Loud will be a good and close game if they play each other lol.

at champs they took LOUD to map 3, and were one map away from taking them to OT. Loud beat fnatic with ease and were placed #3. u underestimating EDG lol

meh. At tokyo EDG shocked everyone by beating Loud. At Champs, they were 1 round away from taking LOUD to OT at their Haven and Loud got a bit worse with aspas -> quick. And if imma be honest they lwky shouldve won vs EG. If they didnt lose that eco where all of them got detained I think that games goes to OT. But everybody counting out china already. I think every game China plays is going to be a hella close series. If coaches and players look at their vods and say "this is sloppy their ass" they might get upsetted.

i mean you just listed the top 3 teams that finished champs last year LMFAO. They all took them to map 3 and were a round or two away from winning. "decent" is an huge understatement. just got a feeling that it'll be a close game

I feel like China will do better internationally. Their silliness and aim heavy mechanics will just catch emea, na, and brazil off guard. They did well in Tokyo and did badly in Champs because every team was anti-stratting them and they were still learning how to combat that lmfao. With new strats and a fresh 2 months to reset I think. they'll be find in Madrid. Only teams im worried about are the APAC teams because they're their scrim partenrs and PRX have similar playstyles where they run some crazy ass comp and aim duel.

yeah what I think too. the sillyness and aim heavy stuff that goes on in china will keep emea, brazil, and na confused and can't predict. It'll take alteast a map or two or maybe even a series to adjust to them. However, if they play APAC tho i think it might be tough. china and apac are scrim partners and have similar playstyles to prx where they run some crazy shit and aim duel lol

if cs tried to include other regions and develope cs in pacific/china i promise you CS Majors would easily break twitch and streaming records to the point where no one can compete vs them lol while still maintaining the competetiveness because pacific teams might be considered "dark horse teams" and we'll see some upsets that'll break the internet

same. When I watched TEC vs JDG, I wanted both Rb and Stew to win lol
