Because the level of play was horrible😭 basically 3 maps where heretics were down 10-2 at the half
nah it was so boring watching a team steamroll the other, atleast madrid had close halfs and then one team ramped it up if it was a sweep, shanghai finals/semis bro it was 9-3 10-2 halfs over n over and over again
I was just less interested because horrible timezones for NA + 100T is the only NA team i wanted to win + edg and fnatic and fut were all horrible teams for top 8
Just ended up where I just didn't find a lot of games interesting to watch but when I chose to watch a game it was a gigabanger also i love benjyfishy and texture so it was nice seeing them get top 2

Only thing that ruined this tourney for me was the time at which matches started. Basically slept and checked the results the following morning which ruined any hype I had for certain matches.
GF crowd kinda sucked too, but GENG deserved their win wholeheartedly
very good swiss-stage matches, most of the playoffs matches weren't that good except fnc vs geng, close matchup so it was hard to see fnc being eliminated in their next match, and the final but th got stomped in last 2 maps so.... storyline weren't good compared to madrid, fucked up time schedule for most streams so less viewers, casting wasn't that good compared to madrid, although the fun part was geng getting hate and almost no support yet lifting the trophy in shanghai
Highkey finals was extremely bad, stomps all over the place it wasn't very competitive at times
