everyone glazed over that + fns on stream mentioning crashies stopped believing in him and separately citing his unhappiness with the team stemming from feeling like his teammates didn't believe in him/listen to him(paraphrasing obv)

i mean bad series happens. you cant control a whole team if the chemistry is off. but imo picking crashies and victor over the best IGL NA has to offer and their star player who had been with the org through ups and down really came back to fuck them over. and im all here for it. Hope FNS and s0m get into a good team cause god do they deserve it.

to be honest, a good IGL that can't aim might work in 2023 but will not work in 2024. it's not a bad decision they drop FNS. but saying s0m was the best player last year was def mental.
well in case you haven't noticed his aim improved quite a lot, several clutch rounds this year
s0m definitely was in the top 3 of americas. demon1 was at his peak in champs, he was not exactly consistent in the season prior to champs. s0m was also the most consistent player in NRG despite being the only one without a trophy, he carried the team on many occasions and his stats were one of the highest. Calling him the best player in americas last year is not a bad take at all, this just proves recency bias lmao. Also remember that s0m was the controller and stats were top tier in the whole world. Demon1 had matches in the season where he popped off, but the only true stretch where he was the best was during champions. s0m on the other hand? W stripper.

they struggled but at least they made internationals! this NRG squad has not made a single international with 2 of last years champs as well as 3 other trophy holders. That should be enough to tell you the story, don't be a bum and start accepting the fact. IGLs are a huge factor in a team's success. FNS, Boaster, Sadhaak, Boostio, johnqt. These guys deserve their flowers and people gotta accept it.
