i mean every single pro is ex cs or whatever cs clone they played like crossfire or zula otherwise theres no way they would be good in val that quick
i guarantee most pros who came from tac fps titles who are not zoomers probably started with cs or played it at some point

we have a lot of ex-pros from overwatch and fortnite, we even got demon1 from fucking unreal tournament 4 and trent from rust

now i didn't watch cs but didnt literally everyone agree that mechanics weren't his problem? more along the lines of teamplay and such, and that his mechanics were actually really good?

i just went trough his stats in 2020-2022 and i cant seem to find him being shit for 2 years,his stats say he was dominating almost every game even then

The problem is trying to find a player that havent played csgo , almost all of them were Tier 2-4 players , Faceit Demons , played back on source/1.6 or even just played casually .
what is probably true and ironic is that even most ppl/users here on vlr have played one version or another of CS in their lifetime

well, NA CS is dead so nobody from Americas. EMEA is the worst league, so nobody in EU has the talent to compete in tier 2.
Yeah pretty much nobody who wasn't already a pro could make it in CS. Leaf and Ethan could come back and immediately be top 10 players in NA though lol.
Nobody lmao, cs has been a pro game for over 15 years and is incredibly difficult to master given the large depth of strategy and understanding that has been developed. No val pro who hasn't already played cs could ever successfully transfer to playing professional cs.
context is about valorant pros who were not an ex CSGO pros and if he go for pro in CS2 will become at least a tier 2 pro player in cs2, doesnt matter if the guy has played it casually as long as he wasnt an ex cs pro

I understand the context of the thread, and I wholeheartedly disagree with you. As a huge fan of CS for a very long time, sinatraa would get absolutely torn apart in both tier 1 and tier 2 cs. Just because he can kill Subroza means nothing, Subroza is a full time-streamer and hasn't played pro cs (which when he did, he was only tier 3) in 5 years.
