If he joined EG then we would never seen Corey play Raze which worries me considering its by far his best agent.
im very high on corey, but i think this is a good point. honestly this is completely dependent on which 3 of EG's current players would stay; assuming Boostio is gone to 100T, who would the other player leaving be? i think that would determine a lot about whether stellar and corey would be good pickups, because even though corey is very flexible and i think ethan's experience as a mid rounder would help ease stellar in very well, this team without Demon1, Jawgemo, or C0m would be very different imo. i think the most sense as things currently stand would be Demon1 as duelist, Corey as flex, Ethan as main initiator, stellar sentinel, Jawgemo smokes/raze
Seems as if c0m and Jawg are the only ones staying based off reports. Jawg/Corey together seems like a weird fit imo.
Only if you compare them to other regions, but in NA It's the best they have
idk what you think undeserved means but if anythiing corey has been always the most underrated tier 2 player even improving his agent pool whenever his team needs him to and playing impactfully most of the time, in stellar´s side i think people doesnt give him enough credit taking in count he has always been cracked enough to back up when he doesnt igl and he was even a better igl than a lot of actual igls when he used to be coached by sean gares so i´d like to see what he can cook with potter as his coach
People said that about com jawg and boostio last season its not about the player its about the team
jawg and boostio looked great on and upcoming t2 team but people thought it was too soon. you can make that argument for corey but stellar was on a t1 team (unlimited resources) that got progressively worse all year and got exposed the moment sean gares left the team
Nobody saw boostio as an upcommer. I used to be a fan of him since 2022 when he dropped the jett and picked up igling and I know he was never brought up in any discussion as a good rising player or a good igl. Jawgemo was much more of a self contained star but i would say even corey had more stardom pre franchise era with his tsm signing alongside seven and rossy. As a longtime part of the community i can tell you boostio and jawgemo were bigger questionmarks than stellar and corey ever were.
