bro he's actually decent, back in G2 he got all the shit roles so he had a hard time adapting, but he's a solid player
everybody has been saying that players like koalanoob and tex won't receive franchise offers because their role is oversaturated with talent, and NRG pick up penny??
How do we even know penny is being picked up for the duelist role?
It could always be victor moving back towards duelist.
it's the same thing for initiator: nismo, eeiu, verno, JonahP, nature, how many of them are gonna be in franchising next year? and how many of them are better than penny? Nothing bad if NRG wants to save some money and sign a young underrated player to develop under the ex-Optic guys hoping for him to explode, bt why penny of all people idk
I wouldn't say NA has an overflow of duelists right now, and I would definitely put Tex and Penny in the same tier.
But, the thing is that he's likely not to be a duelist, and with proper experience Penny can be a great flex/ini

penny is not as bad as people in this thread are saying, but there are SO MANY better options, like yay for example, who already has perfect synergy with some of these players...
Penny was the worst player on g2 last year in tier 2. Sure he was playing flex instead of primary duelist but he had some of the worst rating in all of split 2 in challengers.
And yes I'm salty about this because I was a g2 believer and shahz and oxy were showing up every week fragging out while penny shat the bed again and again when he was one of the better players in NA at some point.
if penny gets over tex and or koala thats bullshit
