Serious discussion. How good would Gambit be if they replace d3ffo with Shao. Although I don't see FPX letting go of Shao, it won't be good for them if they keep underperforming.

everyone knows shao is insane on fucking jett he went 34-15 against G2 in masters 2
also used to play raze as well in earlier times of the game (and he was a monster obv., he has always being a monster)

His 6 maps playing Jett is simply not comparable to D33fo's 146 maps on Jett. Surely Shao is an exeptioanlly good player but we're also comparing top 1 Gambit to top 13 FPX here which is a bit off, considering the fact how far Gambit have reached with D33fo's direct effort on Jett.
Well then it would be reasonable. But I wouldnt change gambit. They will definetly win a masters/champions if they continue like this and get themselves a sport pshycologist

I might be speaking out of my ass but I think Derke individual performance greatly decreased since Reykjavik
It is an useless transfer. Derke is so aggressive so he can't fit on with this much of defensive team. It benefits no one but the opponent.
Gambit doesnt have a problem with their skill cap its their nerves , they destroy everyone in Scrims that means they have good entries good picks and efinitely good players
I don't think it's big of an upgrade to be honest, Gambit has played together for so long already and let's stop pretending d3ffo is bad, he has some off-games but most of the time he's insane
Shao doesnt play jett a lot, but when does he is very good, lot more consistent than d3ffo though, but regaining all that team chamistry and shit will be hard, so we cant really say that shao will perform at the same level in Gambit
