PRX's Ascent comp is prolly gonna be even crazier in champs cuz its one of KRU's best maps and thats gonna be their first pick
rooting for them to win the whole thing bc theyre my favorite team
my only hot take tho is people act like if something was there that its an almost guaranteed win against EG / FNC / NRG rematch. it very much is not and PRX can very easily still lose those matchups
- PRX will never go above 5-6th at an international LAN without Jinggg (easily the best Raze in the world currently)
- PRX has done well this year not because of something but because d4v41 has stepped up
I agree with your second point. I started watching them ever since Reykjavik, to every match they had in VCT MYSG Challengers - until now, and I must say, davai really stepped up a lot.
In the past, the highlight reels would mostly just consist of Forsaken & Jing, but man seeing davai in pacific league so consistent is a breath of fresh air.
Cigarettes is actually an insane player and not just a streamer/content creator. Idk why people make fun of NRG for losing against a really good team with insane player
there's a high chance that prx with Cgrs will be better than Something for the team.

prx can never win a lan. after trolling breeze vs fpx, they literally cursed themselves

that was the whole point. To play an insane comp (that they have pracced before many times). Go out with a bang as they said, win or not.
And they did almost win too.
They are the only team you can watch for max entertainment.

Paper Rex are living proof that there is no correct way to play valorant
? i honestly think so. their stream are so boring. if they are not pro they will be nothing. just look at benkai, literally nobody right now and it's not even a year

PRX has by far the most potential of any team, but at the same time, you could argue they go a little too far off meta sometimes. That being said, they just think about Valorant differently than other teams, which probably gives them a constant edge against most teams.
As a Chinese, my top 2 favorite foreign teams are FNC and PRX. PRX's match is interesting, they have strange ideas and take strange picks like Reyna, and their round is fast pace, no default and just rush, rush, rush, and win or lose in an instant. Their match style is unique and fascinating.
PRX, if they try to win a tournament whole-heartedly, will always close out maps faster than they usually do. But oh well, they are there to have fun, so they will drag the matches to OT for no reason, and play with my heatbeat rate. I stopped taking this team seriously after copenhagen, but i wish they have success atleast for jinggg...he is a sweet guy and deserves a trophy before his talent get absolutely ruined by the SG insecure government.
Positive - They're super fun to watch, fan favourites, great org with great players both in game and outside the game, also super good and nasty
Negative - I'm not sure whether their play style is gonna be good for the future, since more and more teams will learn how to play against them, and they are prone to crumbling when they don't set the tone early i.e. when the opponent team wins a string of rounds they can't bounce back that often and stop the bleeding.
i already liked them before getting something and since they picked him up im a big fan, hope kru or them win this champs

Ion think theyre gna win this Champs but I'm excited to see how something performs this event
They will win champions and bc jinggg is gone after champs, if they sign a player like something, they will be the absolute best in valorant history.
