when he was on optic everything was built around him, on DSG they dont have the same caliber of players and strategies to set everything up for him like hes used to

I think it’s mostly that he is a very passive player by heart, so chamber fit him well, but the meta with Jett is more explosive and aggressive and yay is just not that player. Same with cryo but he’s recently been coming around to the more aggressive style.
He isnt set up well by mediocre teammates, and his sage is legitimately not good

Well he is statistically the second worse Jett in the league. You can say he doesn't get set up and that his teammates are bad which is true, but if that's the case so is for the other teams? DSG was definitely not the worst team last split. I don't think it's fair to ask him to drop 30 per map but it's also delusional to think he has an excuse to not be performing better than he is rn
Dsg was still pretty bad tho? they only made it out cus MAD and OR which are the worst teams in VCL were in the same group as them. Also the rosters been so fking volatile, he has played 5 games and that too with three different rosters.
Still tho. For example narrate was introduced into that awful MAD you mention, yet he performed from the begging. Again I'm not saying he should be the best in the league, but it's really not justifiable that he is almost the worst one
that's literally not the case for alot of other teams though? dsg is probably the worst team THIS split coz of all the roster changes. he also has the same stats as governor in split two so what you're saying about statistically being the second worst jett in the league isnt even true. he's in the middle statistically if you look at the whole league aswell.
