Exalt has announced that he has been released as an unrestricted free agent.

@Disguised
Today, we're sad to announce the departure of @ExaltVAL from DSG. Drake has been an integral part of our open qualifiers run and we will be forever grateful for his role in helping establish DSG's place in the Valorant scene. We will greatly miss his presence.

Thank you, Exalt.

As one of the founding members of the Disguised core, the 23-year-old initiator brought his Valorant Beta experience to the team, having a tenured history across multiple mixes, most notably Knights and Knights Academy — of which three Disguised members were previously contracted with.

In a follow-up tweet, it was announced their registered substitute player Chris "riku" Piasecki will play for the remainder of the North American split.

A fellow alumni of Knights Academy, riku has been hopping between free-agent mixes since the latter half of 2022 — with one of them clashing with Disguised in a Nerd Street qualifier — before becoming Disguised's 6th man.

Disguised are currently 2-2 in Group B of the first NA Challengers Split, with their qualification to the Mid-Season Face Off seemingly guaranteed. With only a handful of weeks to prepare, the Face Off will be Disguised's first major bracket, as the roster vies for a spot in Ascension later this year.
