I doubt he got cut due to individual performance he was performing pretty well on astra considering he hadn't played her that much even in tier 2/3, there could be a number of reasons for why he got cut but I'm not gonna speculate. I think this iteration of the team with bang was really good and he's well and truly the last player I would've cut personally, but then again, this is from my perspective as an outsider/viewer.
