not a good time to pick since the next match is against g2 lol. but so happy for governor.
He first has to buy them out of their contract after its somewhere around 100k a month for those guys now xQc might be rich but he is not investing that much money into a esport org that won’t make profit back
We’ll with TGRD he could make profit with them making it into franchising.
But, even without would produce way better content and would bring in TGRD fanbase
I didn’t expect him to but it seems as if TGRD is holding onto its players until something is offered. As we haven’t heard anything and a team can only go so long without any workers i’m assuming he could of waited them out till maybe second split Turtle Troops isn’t going anywhere.
TLDR: Yes it’s unreleastic for him to buy contracts out, but TGRD is in shambles and Turtle Troops aren’t getting signed by anyone else. Just wait
There is a reason he went to buy the team that isn’t even guaranteed to make it in to playoffs let alone compete internationally
Guard contracts are combined probably in the millions that add on the fact that the players would probably ask for at least 20-25k a month it makes it unlikely any team would buy the whole roster unless they are like the PSG of valorant
man is to worried abt farming content out of it he doesn’t realize a way better opportunity could come up (TGRD) but I guess get what u can while u can LETS GOOOOOO
