Does Chinese Valorant have any potential, I know that they are good at League of Legends and I heard that FPX is looking to make a Chinese roster.

yea, riot is chinese. so if they can make it abide by content restrictions in china and can merge the two well then itll be massive since there will probably be alot of funding
China has a population of nearly 1.4 billion
They have the potential to be good at anything, as long as they are interested in it

Though I tend to think that China will be good but will be a secondary region alongside KR and LATAM compared to EMEA and NA
there's more factors than that, india has 1.35b+ people and the only thing in sports/esports they are good at is cricket/field hockey. and pubgm

However, I'd argue that China is much further ahead of India in terms of Esports
They already have a large amount of competent esport organizations that aren't looking to scam their players
I also think that Riot are more interested in growing the Chinese scene then the Indian one (not saying it's the right choice)
China not only have the ppl they have the money lol. Trust me if this game is played and out in china in 3 years time they will be a top tier region.
chinese teams have performed in scrims afaik but there hasn't been a lot of opportunities outside this one where nuturn won against another korean team (BCG/Rio)
Key thing is both Japanese teams bombed out in the groupstage; could mean something in LCQ as Reject is participating in it.
There are a lot of Chinese teams in VALO, we have entire WeChat groups filled with teams looking for scrims, but IMO only TOE and Totoro are decent. At the moment what you're seeing in Asia is, in order of scene/team strength, KR > SEA > JP > CN.
China is good at everything, and could be good at valorant if they are interested enough
I dunno about that they were never good at cs maybe you could say tyloo are good but they never really won anything in that game
Of course they can be good at valorant being good at cs doesn't really have any implications as to have good you'll be at Val
If Riot releases the game in China and the scene grows.... I don't know if Cs would hold that strike....
there are some decent teams and players. especially Zmjjkk, he is one of the best duelists in asia, carries literally every game
they will be 10x worse than SEA
is everyone forgetting that every other region had a year and a half headstart on them?
add in the fact that china isnt good at any global FPS
they will suck idk why everyone is hyping them up just because they are good at mobas
Ive watched a bit and I think they’ll be a powerhouse eventually. They’re behind the meta but players like life and zmjjkk are already pretty good. There’s already a pretty big pool of players that use Hong Kong servers and that’s just going to go up when it releases officially. If China gets invested in it they 100% will be a solid region
