Can they even make top 5 in Pacific League?
not top 5 but i can see them beating vitality maybe
good make a surprise run
Not in 1st year
very low possibility in 2nd year
low possibility in 3rd year
NOPE
With the right coaching staff and if roles don't change over and over then yes. Ex - Duelists are really good at aiming and getting frags and if they can adjust in other roles they can be scary
I just hope the imports understand the madrasi accent of Skrossi well in game.
Lets counter a stereotyping guy by calling him a northie. We are blessed by such big brain people.
We Indians: omg foreigners are being racist to us.
Also Indians: Let's divide ourselves into north and south and be racist to each other 😈😈
no offence but atleast get the accent right if you want to make fun of the way he speaks - he's from bangalore and not chennai.
Deadass yes there's a chance. Who's definitively above them in pacific? DRX and PRX for sure. Who's under them? I'd say absolutely Detonation and RRQ and probably TS on paper. Then we've got GenG, T1, Talon, and Zeta left.
I think if GE hits it off they will be better than Zeta, and don't get me wrong, I love Zeta, they've been one of my fav teams since masters 2. Unfortunately though they didn't make any changes, and I think most other teams got a lot better.
T1 is already kind of questionable because even though their player quality is mostly insane, their roles seem fucked and Carpe doesn't seem to know how to play Valorant at this high of a level. I'd rate GE higher.
Then even if GE is worse than GenG and Talon, they'll be in 5th place! So yes, top 5 isn't absurd to say. Then again, if the team implodes (which is also possible), I'd predict them to be dead last.
My (very stupid ranking) would go something like:
And I think only DRX and PRX (and maybe GenG + Talon) will have a chance to make it super deep in masters and champions this year (excepting further changes as are inevitable).
T1 looked atrocious last time we saw them at that 50k cup. And not just in a coordination sense but in a-we-don't-know-our-roles way, which is much more problematic. More than that Carpe didn't look good at all, and I don't think he'll get good enough in such a short time to be valuable this year.
GenG is just hopium and my belief in the crackedness of meteor.
In all fairness, I think GE's greatest achievement from this tournament would be just to defeat Team Vitality. They can go home after that. We need to remember that PRX and DRX exists.
Wronski overrated duelist he do nothing in apac ..if he change role all good
More than a "is this team better than the others in the Pacific League", GE's goal with this team is not short term success with the best players.
Presently, can this team win a Major with the current roster? No.
But, GE's LONG TERM goal with this roster is to sculpt the best available talent in the world, with the best coaching possible, to its maximum potential - which the players, support staff and management believe they can achieve with this lineup (to win Majors in the Leagues).
Seeing how Rushi Bhai (CEO) and Vatsal (Manager) have pulled this off domestically, previously with just Indian talent, I have faith that this roster has the potential to be ATLEAST at the top three, if not the best.
However to answer the question, I think GE is a solid top 5 or top 6 team, but I see them being one of the best teams in the World by the next year's Circuit or even this years' Champions.
GE is good, but ya don't expect much in LOCK IN, prolly by the later mid of 2023, they will get in Top 5 PACIFIC easily, and a good Posi in WORLDS too, if they qualify.
