m3c used this same comp against liquid twice (sova tho instead of fade) and lost both. i really dont think a no sage icebox is good.
sova instead of fade, exactly. the difference between them is that once the bomb is down, retake is pretty much impossible. they have so much utility to stop the defuse that it becomes extremely difficult to even tap bomb let alone half or stick it. i recommend watching TGRD vs FaZe at LCQ on icebox

optic used this comp with fade way before the guard did. they used it against xset in challengers and at masters 2 against guild
