C9W Truth

C9W just got the Sentinels treatment, dominate for the longest domestically, but then begin to fall apart at international stage. They aren't the worst, but they certainly didn't perform their best. Whether they get better from here into the next year depends on them, which will truly tell whether they still dominate over their competition or not.

Doesn’t matter it will be a year until they play again.

A year of idiots who think NA are bad because C9w wouldn’t show up when it matters most.

C9w = 🗑 and will be for a year no matter how much they dominate the NA scene.

All good, same thing happened with NA after 2021 reykjavik. Now this year OpTic and LOUD showed the most consistency among all of their competitors, and anyone who hated was just coping as usual. Only a matter of time before C9W's shame and hurt turns into drive and success internationally (if they don't implode).

Unfortunately it’s not like the normal circuit. We don’t have to endure just a few months of ignorance. The mens leagues have more international tournaments.

GC happens once a year. Even when C9w destroy SR for a year straight it won’t matter because they won’t play internationally for a full year.

I do hope that Game Changers picks up traction at least. There's too much talent in the world from these teams to be ruined like that. at least 2 international majors would be great, otherwise it would seem more superficial than anything else to just crown someone "the best in the world" over a once a year meeting. :/

Still 0 champions region still salty kkk. Stop tryna ride off of LOUD's success, when we all know what was going on in 2021 champs when brazil were losing. FPX atleast one a masters this year as well, doesnt make NA much better than EMEA, unlike 2021 when where almost all NA teams were being grouped.

I don't know where you got the impression that I was salty or trying to ride off of LOUD's success. I just spoke about C9W (after they lost vs their own region?). Also I was originally going to only talk about Optic's consistent high placements, but then remembered to give credit to LOUD since they were also consistent and won the biggest tourney this year. Sorry if the way I initially spoke bothered you.

im betting they are coming back for revenge. Unlike Sentinels, they grinded from being unknown to greatness. They gonna grind

LOL only for people to discount it since there was "no competition". In the end there are parallels, and maybe the story will take a turn for the better.

honestly, they probably would've won the first LAN if it was around sooner G2 wasn't around until the end of 2021 so the competition would've been sm worse.

nah they’re still a good team and easily best team last season. the highest stat players in the tourney so far were majority c9w but sometimes teams just lose and not play well

True. Seeing as something happened similarly in VCT Istanbul, with FPX being one of the favorites to win, yet getting eliminated by DRX (another good team, but certainly underdogs in that context) before the finals.

They're a good team but afaik they have very little (if any) previous LAN experience. They underperformed today, and got eliminated. It is what it is. The only reason people are making such a big deal out of it is because they are massive shit talkers on twitter. We all know that if you want to talk shit in games the moment you loose you're going to get it back.

shit talkers are gonna keep talking shit, all they see is the black and white of every situation- C9W lost to SR and therefore are overrated and bad. however, C9W truly did basically dominate NA GC this past season and are a really strong team. they just fell short on one of their first LANs and had an off day, so it cost them. they will for sure come back stronger next year, but best of luck to TLBR, G2 , and SR as they finish the tournament.
