did people seriously think they were going to comfortably win???
imo it was pretty obvious c9/g2/guild/sr were better coming into it
i think they have the easiest run in the tournament. tbf
i have them ending top 4 just by the fact they face kru/x10 instead of guild/c9 in lower bracket
The problem isn't that they are not good, the problem is that they've never faced a real good team at their level before.
Is kinda logic that It wouldn't be easy, all this "it's gonna be easy" is a lie from a scene that never played internationally before in a female enviroment.
you could say the same for C9, they have lost one bo3 in GC since GC first began. Until this tourney I mean.
Not 100% sure, because there's been a relatively good amount of investment in BR GC scene, but maybe NA had more? Would explain why both SR and C9 come in stronger, even without any international exp
