well, imo suygetsu is probably their 2nd best player if not the best. so, i wouldn't surprised if fpx can't perform up to expectation.
Fpx without sugyetsu is as good as fnatic without derke. Also we got guild with last two masters finalists and a KRU out for blood 🤣
Fpx got 1st place in challengers 1 with one sub. I think they can make it to playoffs if they play well.
Nah, it's not the same. First of all their stand-in at the time (baddyG) was and still is better than any of the 3 subs they have (SEIDER, Kereme and Masked), secondly and most importantly, they werent missing their best player at the time (Suygetsu). Things are different when your best player isn't playing. Think about Gambit having to play without nAts but with a stand-in instead. It's just too hard.
They were missing their most important player, their IGL Ange1 at that time and Ardiis due to covid. Suygetsu is a great player, but it is not as bad as not having their IGL. So I think with Ange1 they could make their substitute work.
Shao is a capable IGL. Their most important player is Suygetsu.
Redgar IGL's for Gambit, but u would never say he's more important than nAts. It's same shit.
Ange1 for FPX is as good as Boaster is for Fnatic. Do you think Fnatic would be able to thrive without Boaster's leadership?
