According to their match history they went vs each other in a 3rd party tournament twice in early 2021 and late 2020, both times XIA (then X10) won. That was ages ago tho even before patiphan joined XIA (then X10) and before witz joined TS (then BRN) so it doesn't matter at all
Since they had no encounter before , TS has to prepare some surprises to pull this off for sure
for people sayin they had no encounters they actually did way back in 2020 when they where still bren and xerxia was x10 andd im pretty sure it was a 2-3 bo5 in favor of x10
They also met in the group stages of that tournament where x10 won 2-1 vs bren
Probably 2-0 favoring xia. From what i seen in the past matches ts lack the firepower that xia has. They have the strategy but they lose if the fight depends on aiming

ts got 2 more rounds (13-6, 13-4) than the no. 2 team in apac. That says a lot and they played them in xia's map pic with their 6th man playing where he popped off. Ts on a 6 winstreak on ascent. TS 2-1 hopium. xia lb run.
I think Xerxia actually best team in APAC , their roster is more balanced than PRX imo
i also think xerxia is the best team in apac, its just that prx players can almost always win their 1v1's, and their experience in lan is what just give them the edge, but overall xerxia is the best team in terms of team synergy and utility usage.
Triple initiator is very good at ascent, drx started it, evil geniuses, optic and xerxia used it and won
map picks I guess, maybe the team did not practice it with him on that map. Well at least, they don't do what vision strikers did with lakia

Clean sweep from both teams on their opponent's map picks, and 3rd map was really close.
I think it's okay with no duelist comp. as long as they know how to communicate to each other and use their abilities to their advantages.
