i dont think they are overhyped, they exist for people who mainly dont want to listen to only casters, or for people who dont want to watch alone
i dont think they can be 'hyped' i think they kinda just exist lmao (obviously some streamers will have different attitudes compared to others)
sometimes tarik's watch parties gets annoying sometimes with more than 10 people on call lol
watchparties are good for normies but when you are really an esports fan you prefer main channel.

depends on the casters for me, if theyre uninteresting i just turn on a costream since they usually have some sort of convo to go with it and some pros also like to give insight on some plays which is a plus

im not gonna watch bandwagon streamers who lower sound volume, speak whatever but not about the game and don't understand the game. the only one reason to switch to watchparty is the advertisment during pause KEKW

Yeah can be reasons for that. If I watch the main stream I normally mute it because the casters just seem lost all the time. They just aren’t good but good casters they have they don’t bring.
