After its VCT season was over, FPX competed at and won China Evolution Series: Act 3 with Zhubibi acting as the primary Duelist, with Setrod also in that role on select maps. After making all three international events in its first year as a partner in VCT CN, FPX has struggled to return to the top of the region, with a 5th-6th placement at China Kickoff 2025 being its best result since the end of 2024. Since that event, FPX has, on average, placed outside the top 10 in the region.
Not too long after FPX's VCT season was over, the team cut ties with in-game leader and Swiss import KovaQ following an internal investigation, which resulted in the organization finding an "inappropriate remark made during an in-game conversation with teammates." FPX, which was not selected for partnership, will fight for a chance to compete in VCT starting this week by competing in China Threshold. While set roles, like who is to assume IGL duties in the post-KovaQ era, have not been set, 77even seems set to take on the team's primary Duelist duties.
