The narrative of him being a world class flex player. The jonahpork post summed it up pretty well. There are very few players that are world class flex players. Before this year I think leaf maybe could be considered one. But they are a dime a dozen.

I will give asuna props where props need to be given, he is an incredible phoenix. There are very few players who can play a sage well. Leaf struggles on sage also. A world class sage is erde tbh.
I’m doing a lot of leaf comparisons, but I think that’s a good comparison in all honesty, both are over talked about as being “world class flex players”.

asuna’s sage is actually so fucking bad i dont even know how to explain it bro like genuinely every time i see him on sage i lose a little bit of hope because what the fuck is he even doing. he plays sage like he accidentally locked her and is just trying to survive the game until he can pick a different agent. the walls are fucking horrible the heals are horrible the res is horrible everything just looks wrong

like you watch him play sage and you start wondering if he even knows what her abilities do because none of it looks intentional. he’ll put a wall down and somehow make the situation worse, throw a heal at the most useless person imaginable and then just run around like nothing happened. and the res bro the res is genuinely criminal, it feels like he sees the button and just presses it because its there. no thought behind it whatsoever

and somehow the worst part is he looks confident while doing all of this 😭 like he’ll make the most disgusting sage play you’ve ever seen and then keep walking around like he just made some insane galaxy brain play. BRO YOU DID NOTHING. YOU JUST PUT A WALL DOWN IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE AND DIED
