ur entire life isn't based on looks. it is only based on looks if u let it dictate entirely who u are. A person is more than just looks. A person is the culmination of their looks, personality, dreams, beliefs, relationships(friends, families, lovers, etc), and hobbies. The most important of these is what u feel gives ur life meaning and fulfillment.

The halo effect isn’t just in favor of attractiveness people. There was a 1977 study from the university of Michigan where participants rated someone on traits including attractiveness along with some other things. Half were shown a recording where the person in question was cold and the other half a warmer side. The version that was warmer was rated as more attractive and more positively in the other traits as well.
Halo effect is that a strong initial positive perception in one trait leads someone to perceive other unrelated traits more positively as well.
