At least the 2027 VCT subregion rules fuck over America, EMEA and APAC way more than China. Also, the 2 imports rule is highly beneficial for elevating Chinese teams’ firepower. I promise you that this new 2027 VCT format not only promotes a much healthier VCT ecosystem, but it also drastically improves China’s strength as a whole.
If Valorant decides to host more international events so Chinese teams get more and more experience against foreign teams, China can easily catch up to other regions.
