All 4 candidates are quite relevant and popular. Introducing a new name, no one even knows or care about, isn't gonna be leading to more sales. In fact, nobody is gonna care about them. Why even introduce them in NA? LATAM and Brazil orgs have been pretty bad, replace them (Nothing to players, I just mean the org)

if we can use 2022 --> 2023 as a precedent i honestly think the partnership proposal matters more to riot than overall success and popularity
i can't see any other reason orgs like eg/100t/nrg get partnered over optic unless we operate under the framework that they missed out because of a bad application
in which case flyquest probably has a great shot of making it with their track record
It's because Optic sold their league slot or something, they already burned bridges with riot
isn’t FlyQuest already under riots umbrella in LoL? i also believe in the theory that a new team/fresh faces allow some fans who aren’t yet fans of 1 team to pick up the newer team added because it’s something new to support.
What justification is there for 100T over FlyQuest as a partner, I’m genuinely asking
recent EWC champs. kinda almost secures it. plus 100T is already in the league.
The problem is that Riot don't really value performances outside of VCT though so the EWC win doesn't really do much for them. Also being in the league doesn't matter much since they are potentially looking for new partners outside of the league.
Performance as a team was never a factor in determining league partners. Optic came off of a year with 3 podium finishes in a row, including a masters win. They still were not partnered
tbf, as culturally important as OPTIC was in Call Of Duty, are they really big in any other games? they could of also stuck around and fielded a t2 roster but chose to just completely leave all together. i can understand why riot thought their application was lack luster what else do they do now???

riot will always pick the orgs that make the most money for them as partners
all I gotta say is their management has made some pretty questionable decisions so far
(cutting lucas for neT & rumored to be cutting everyone except sorex for the next year which is dumb imo, they should keep solada too)
next year is the great reset, every org will probably shuffle around most players apart from their star
I'd argue them keeping even sorex is a dumb decision. As one of the few partner teams they'll be able to field basically whatever roster they could possibly want, betting it all on someone with like 6 months of tier 2 experience is dumb as hell.
The only problem with Fly Quest NA, is that it means no Fly Quest Oceania, which the region desperately needs.
But, yeah Fly Quest and SR make sense; they show their will to invest into the low level into the scene, nobody is safe in NA especially org that had to drop LoL because of money problems. SEN, G2, FQ/SR/C9 being the 4 NA partner team next year would not really surprise me

Long trust partner with Riot since 2013 with no problem. I think C9 have more chance to stay than 100T, it's not dead for 100T, but they will need a really really convincing case, they can do it ofc, but still. Result isnt really a huge cireteria for Riot. If you are not partner in 2027 and you are good, you dont need being partner.
You do know c9 is literally shit in every esports they cant run a team for shit I don't see them getting partnered putting them above 100t i gotta know what ur smoking
They are the most successfull team in international in LoL, and being successful, isnt Riot criteria.
I'm not saying shit as in bad Ik Riot dosent care about that Im talking about the issues they have had with players that is something riot is looking out for if you dont have a good reputation from players why would they even bother. Besides LOL what else have they been successful in nothing they literally asked a tier2 rookie in cdl to pay half of his buyout
the flyquest org is big outside of valorant so therefor new viewership, + they are consistently supporting the tier2 scene
also latam has been screwed by having to play in the u.s. every year, not rlly their fault but i see where you're coming from~
