After playing Deadlock (the game), I had an idea for a reimagined practice range.
When you open Valorant, instead of loading into the main menu, you load into the practice range. The practice range will now act as a personalized social space HQ that your friends will be able to join. From this social space, you will be able to start a queue, practice your aim on bots, visit the shop to buy skins, check the leaderboard, watch replays, everything you can do in the main menu now and more.
Shooting Range – Aim training, practice, bot challenges.
Strategy Room – Queue, party management, map selection, patch notes.
Armory – Browse and equip weapon skins, buddies, cards, sprays, and variants.
Replay Theater – Watch replays on large screens with friends.
Leaderboard Hall – Regional and global rankings displayed on a screen.
Career Office – Match history, statistics, rank progression.
Some ideas:
- Skirmish arena to practice against your friends in your party
- Improved bots, allow them to crouch and move more like real players
- More training options, ex.) reaction time test, movement training, strafe training etc
- Near the shop, there would be a 'skin testing' area where you can test skins before you buy them
- Add a trophy room, if you win premier your 'trophies' will go here. There could also be agent mastery trophies, you could get a trophy that displays your rank, etc.
- Mini-games while queuing, ex.) Jett knife dodgeball, bot waves, aim races with friends, parkour race, Drone racing using Sova's drone
- Dynamic NPCs of agents walking around to make the space feel more lively, ex.) KJ working on her bots, Cypher looking at his cameras, Gekko chasing around his creatures
Lmk what you think and if you have any ideas :D
