Stop with sending teams straight to playoffs, either make them compete in swiss starting at 1-0 or find another solution, momentum is both in game and out of game and G2 and Heretics would've performed better IMO if they played in swiss they would've played better, just like some teams in masters 1

Then why did PRX and EDG perform well ? they were also seed 1 and EWC makes no difference bcs every seed 1 was already qualified

This seems cherrypicked. Heretics lost to arguably 2 better teams. G2 played like shit but EDG and PRX had no issues.

We got to see the other side of this coin:

  • PRX started in hot form and easily beat G2.
  • EDG started out cold but managed to turn things around and beat FUT convincingly on the second half of map 2 and map 3.

I do think it is something to think about. But at the end of the day, the actual trophy contenders will manage to overcome any obstacles. If they even see tis as a disadvantage even, that is, as Seed 1 comes with massive benefits.
