hiro was a temporary stand in that FNC got to play out the rest of their year with and looked decent with but ultimately didn't do much internationally with and they found their long term replacement at the end of the year
PatMen was signed to PRX in order to try and reignite a dying roster, and it ended up paying off with them having an amazing rest of the year with him who then got kinda snaked when a player they thought was better and have been chasing for a while became suddenly available

i thought about it more as:
both came from the ‘big’ team from the region as a rookie and then, after leaving, had huge individual success on mid teams
they have a similar aura, to me
