I can't wait for this match. Finally, we will find out who india's no2 team is, has Velocity managed to claw its way back or is Enigma on its way to the throne?
Why are EG and Vlt together?
They could've put EG with GE and we would've seen if Excali makes EG better than GE
EG vs GE final sounds more exciting imo, so this bracket makes much more sense, coz for EG it would be a good storyline, first defeating vcc runnerups, then the vcc champs
That is how seeding works.
GE is no.1 seed
VLT no.2 and EG no.3.
If you ever studied how tournament brackets are made, higher seed teams are kept as far apart. However, in the semifinals, you expect the no.1 seed vs no.4 seed and no.2 seed vs no.3 seed.
Vlt 2-1 considering the fact that enigma are playing against 2 teams on the same day
But Indian teams other than GE and Vlt, at a point, were used to playing multiple matches a day. Specially Excali in Samurai played multiple matches in a day a lot of times.
EG has the best Jett and the best Raze.
Vlt has the second best Jett and best IGL (imo).
EG just needs to play the correct agent comps and not do what they did earlier putting best Raze on Skye on map of Split.

So wanted to say excali back on Reyna!!Thank You YB and EG management. EG just straight up looking better in this match-up.
Raze provides more utils, but they couldnt utilize her kit as a team. so not really comp diff !
Reyna is really good on icebox because there are so many one and done cheeky corners on Icebox which only Jett and Reyna can utilise.And that is why even Chamber is a meta pick on Icebox now. Plus with Reyna you get flashes for Attack side. Raze boombot and nade is kinda useless because there are simply too many corners to clear plus the map has elevation.
Player diff I would say when excali was a part of VLT back in early 2021 his reyna was insane!!
I thought only one underperforming would be Antidote, but impressive gameplay on both matches.
Hope to see him and Excali do awesome Astra-Raze combo.
I feel vibhorr on raze is overrated or maybe overhyped lol marzil had one bad game and got the whole community hatin on him..not that if they would've stuck with him they would've won but still..

ya, imo they are a good example of how hard work eventually pays off and the timely changes from org helped them become the best

Excali and I believe RvK have a lot of fans and the org has fans from PUBG/BGMI too.
Few OG Vlt fans will always be toxic to Excali because he cared for his career and image.
But Enigma was always a contender for best team.
I don't think it really matters, as long as the team is doing good people will cheer for them. But the moment they get shit on by an SEA team people would come up witha narrative "GE/VLTwould have done better because of their international experience omegalul". That is just how the audience in India works.
SEA is just a better region, with international experience. It would be good if the fans from SA would support their teams rather than complain about 'this team better' 'that team better' etc
Yeah SEA miles ahead for now but the fans need quick results and miracle runs. Unfortunately most of the top teams in SA purely win on skill diff, they hardly experiment with comps and keep up with the meta. You'll see barely any Kayo or Chamber.
People need to understand that it takes time to get good, SEA as a region got bodied at the first 2 masters. They werent good from the start, they became good
Enigma decided to step up at the right time, well played. Sucks that velocity still can't close out maps.
True enigma were trolling or hiding their strats when they played cali on skye ,killjoy or sage!! He is built to play a deulist. Best Secondary deulist(Flex) in India >Change my mind.
Though Cali and rawfiul best duelist combo in India right now, but it will be difficult for EG to shut down GE. GE doesn't crumble to presure often and tend to close out the maps better than vlt. Anyways hoping for all 5 maps tomorrow.
If you don't accept that Rawfiul is better than Skrossi then you need to turn off fan POV.
I feel rawfiul is the best Jett overall but skrossi might be a better player
