This will have a major impact as either teams will ban Jett or viper according to their map pool as agents to be protected viper will be crucial if team's map pool consists of breeze. As we all know breeze without viper is really hard and even viper is really good on Bind, split fracture.
On the other hand people can choose to ban Astra thus most broken agent gone.
Even sova can be banned if the map pool consists of ascent , haven breeze
So it will get more intricate and people will have to expand their map pool and it will depend on the team's own personal preference thus adding another layer in this beautiful game

4 protects is too much. It just really sucks because agent bans are supposed to make it so we don't see the same comp over and over again but with 4 bans, all of the meta agents are going to be protected so we won't really get to see new comps based on bans. The good thing about this is that it could definitely impact map picks. If a team doesn't want to play Breeze and/or Icebox, they could ban Viper and influence the map selections. Or, if a team is playing against teams like Cloud9, maybe they ban Kayo and just mess up the comps a bit(Assuming kayo doesn't get protected). Maybe if a team that uses Kayo, like Cloud9, is playing against a team that uses a lot of skye, they can ban skye. I just wish that it was only 1 protect per team so that we could see teams play without some meta agents.
