VCT 2026: Pacific Stage 1

VCT Pacific takes to Vietnam for Stage 1 Finals

Riot has revealed that Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam will host the VCT Pacific Stage 1 Finals.

This will be the first time that Vietnam's largest and most populous city will host a VCT stage final, although it has previously hosted events such as the 2024 Challengers Vietnam Split 2 Finals and the 2025 Challengers SEA Split 3 Finals.

VCT Pacific Stage 1 group play will run from April 3 to May 17. Teams will be divided into two groups of six, with the top eight advancing to playoffs to compete for the three regional slots for Masters London in June.

The Pacific 2026 schedule is:

Kickoff, Stage 1 group stage, Stage 2 group stage: Seoul
Stage 1 Finals Weekend: Ho Chi Minh
Stage 2 Finals Weekend: Busan

Most actual GE fans, dont care, GE has an academy team, they also work with ROG on the ROG academy team to foster Indian talent, and they have given real shots for Indian talent to get into VCT, so its not their choice that no one is able to perform at the level that International players are able to perform at.

Not trying to downplay pollution in Mumbai, but "bad news" is a bit exaggerated. (you might have mixed up, New Delhi with Mumbai 😭)

• Mumbai’s AQI is usually in the moderate range for most of the year, similar to Ho Chi Minh City (80-110 when its not winter, which is usually the case for both splits)
• Seoul and Busan regularly exceed WHO PM2.5 limits too, especially during yellow dust season (40-50)
• Ho Chi Minh City has similar AQI levels to mumbai (60-100)
• All VCT matches are indoor, climate-controlled venues, so outdoor AQI has limited impact
• Mumbai hosts IPL, concerts, F1 exhibitions, and large international events safely every year

No mega-city in Asia has “clean” air by WHO standards, so ig we would be fine in Mumbai, any other concerns?
