Following Ascension, BBL picked up the entirety of the BBL PCIFIC lineup, including five players and their head coach, leaving most of the original BBL roster unattached.

In a fit of fate, BBL and PCIFIC will open their respective 2026 seasons against each other in the opening round of EMEA Kickoff. With one team's roster being the other's former in its entirety and the other still unannounced, the two formerly affiliated teams will face off with the first of their three lives on the line in the new triple-elimination Kickoff format.
