Nakamura and Kim "Jinboong"
Jin-won (김진원).
Both players joined DFM as rookies to VCT Pacific. Jinboong had a long history in both Korean and Japanese challenger leagues, while gyen had no such prior experience. The two, alongside two other rookies and star Duelist Meiy , were tasked with bringing success to the struggling DFM of the past two years.
With the new rookies, DFM showed promise early on, taking down top Pacific and CN teams in the Radiant Asia Invitational, ending the event in second place. In Kickoff, they had their best performance to date, finishing in the top six, and famously humiliating

. Stage 1 saw a dip in form, but DFM returned in Stage 2 to find three wins, and qualified to the playoffs for the first time in the organization's history. While the team didn't make it any further, it set a foundation to build on for the future.
While gyen and Jinboong have been released, the other three members of the 2025 roster seem to be staying with DFM. Their full roster will be announced on New Year's Day.
