"Thanks BOOM for [giving me the] opportunity, I gave my everything," dos9 said. "2025 season with this team will have special space in my heart, still watching and supporting them in their Ascension journey, wish them luck."

dos9 joined BOOM ahead of the 2025 season, fresh off the organization's second-place finish at Pacific Ascension 2024, which eventually led to BOOM earning a spot in VCT with BLEED BLEED Inactive 's removal. He replaced ZesBeeW in the BOOM squad, and in the 2024 season played for a Revenant Esports Revenant Esports Inactive skillZ Jayanth Ramesh team that reached Ascension but ultimately finished 7th-8th.

While dos9 carried the reputation of a flex player when he first joined, his role with BOOM in 2025 was as the team's Controller. He played the role with high aggression, helping BOOM to a 5-0 finish in the Pacific Stage 1 group stage. In the group stage, he had the third-highest rating of all players at 1.25 and the second-highest clutch success rate at 32 percent. BOOM was eliminated two games into their Stage 1 playoff campaign, and failed to regain the group stage momentum through the rest of the year, going 0-5 in the Stage 2 group stage.

With a top-eight finish in Championship points, BOOM still earned the right to extend their VCT livelihoods with a slot at Pacific Ascension 2025. BOOM picked up natz and whitecat to replace dos9 and Famouz in the starting lineup, and is currently 2-1 in the group stage with a playoff slot secured.

The Kazakhstani dos9 was an import for BOOM, and should he impress an EMEA team, he would not take up an import slot for a prospective team.
