My setup rn is

Keyboard- Razer Huntsman Mini V1

wanna upgrade my keyboard , but still not sure wich one to pick up , thinking about a wooting60he but not sure the price point justifies it

Just my two cents, but IEMs are just generally nicer and better value for money compared to headsets a lot of the time. I remember getting serious fatigue using a headset for prolonged periods of time and never get that with my current IEMs. You get multiple sets of eartips with some of the models so you can keep using them for longer. Though, some headphones are honestly better for that really good sound stage.

I personally run the Truthear Crinacle Zero (Blue) which are £43 and the audio quality on my first listen was surprising. Naturally you will need a separate microphone with IEMs, but it's worth it if you just want a more quality desk setup since a dedicated microphone is better than a headset microphone - even some of the more affordable options.

i agree with you 100 percent , was using some audiotechnica mh50x , but they hurt a bit on top of my head and my ears , and i would get a crazy dent and screw my hair up

recently i got some Linsoul SIMGOT EW300 from amazon and they are insanely more confortable that i forget i even have them on , the build quality is great too and so is the sound , obviously the audiotechnicas are better for listening to music but thats the only upside , puls they cost the double , and the difference isnt that big

I'll probably get a better mouse pad eventually, and I do eventually want to try out the VGN Dragonfly Y2 Ultra, but I'm fine with my setup for now so it'll probably be when I have extra money.

i havent tried the viper v2 so i cant say much but yeah personally i like my viper v3 a lot

ive been using this glasspad for 4 months. for me its easy to adapt from control pad to glasspad and i can say my aim still the same if not better. i feel a lil bit more consistent. i recommend you at least try using glasspad

#49

and what about the cleaning part , doesnt it need daily care??

#54

thats the best part of having glasspad. no need deep cleaning. u can just use a wet tissue or something, then rub it slowly and dry it using normal tissue.

keybaord - logitech k650 keyboard (more of an office keybaord but it's still pretty responsive (150hz) and i simply just prefer the feel)

Mouse: G Pro 2 Superlight
Keyboard: G Pro TKL <-- dogshit wouldn't recommend, keycaps started peeling in months and keys get stuck at random (i do keep it clean). Probably changing this next.

Monitor: Some Zowie 144hz monitor, good for what I need it.
Mouse pad: SteelSeries QcK Gaming Surface - XXL Thick Cloth

All in all it's a very good budget friendly set up, I recommend it all except the keyboard

#44
f0rest_fan

Frags

mouse - endgame gear op1 8k
mousepad - zowie g-sr-se
keyboard - keychron something something tkl tactile switches

mostly fingertip grip, the hump tends to get in the way on the op1 8k so I will likely upgrade to the waizowl cloud xs at some point down the line. very reminiscent of the steelseries kinzu, which is my ideal shape pretty much.

#52
fmx13

really nice setup , never heard about the waizowl cloud xs , but never looked into fingertip mouses either , i tried the pulsar x2 crazylight but found it too small , mayber for fingertip is good tho

Mouse - Ninjutso Sora - Planning on upgrading to the WLMouse Beast X Mini Pro
Keyboard - Epomaker 84 - Planning on upgrading to the Wooting 80HE
Mousepad - Artisan Zero XSoft

If you're having doubts on the price point of the 60HE, there are alternative Hall Effect keyboards and plenty of reviews from YouTubers to get a gist of what's right for your budget and desire for quality gameplay. There is a 60HE v2 with updated specs coming out by the end of this year supposedly so you could try to wait for that to get all the nice perks in the 80HE but in the 60% format. Though I would say that any consistent Hall Effect keyboard is worth the money as it will give you better feedback in a game like Valorant.

#55

i could buy it , but heard so many people praising other keyboards that are WAAAAY cheaper and supposedy perform the same , so im curious about those too , nice setup tho , i never had problems with my WLMOUSE and the quality is incredible , super recomend their brand

#59
midzera
0
Frags

That's fair. I would definitely recommend watching a few videos - optimum, squashyboy, techless, badseed definitely have quality comparisons and informational videos to highlight some of the minute drawbacks of the cheaper alternatives compared to Wooting and where they also uphold good value for those who want a budget HFX keyboard. If you want a no-fuss, market-leader then Wooting is the way.
